Fall Orange Monchromatic Cats -

This is a project from September which I am just now posting.

School had gotten off to a great start.  Students were busy creating wonderful art.  The first couple of weeks students learned to work with monochromatic colors.  We used one orange plus white to create these wonderful cats.  Students learned to mix different values.  The palette was limited to orange and I decided not to have students create shades using black for this project.  Design was drawn in either pencil or sharpie and painted.  Those sketched in pencil were outlined using a black pastel after drying.  Children mounted their artwork on black construction paper.  Enjoy the results.
